In light of Rand Paul’s alleged faux pas re civil rights and President Obama’s suggestion of a commission on race, I should like to make a few comments. First of all, white people have as many civil rights as black people – maybe more, since we’re the ones who brought the black people here. Before you regale me with the “evils of slavery” BS, let me just say that slavery is the best thing that ever happened to these people. They have cars – the Africans who stayed behind in Africa don’t have shoes! They have (or had before Obama) the best medical care in the world – the Africans who stayed in Africa are ravaged by AIDS and Malaria! They have police protection provided by their former slave owners – the Africans who stayed in Africa are routinely raped, castrated, and murdered by tribal warlords! They have free education for their chidren and jobs for themselves (if they want to work) – the Africans who stayed in Africa have no hope of ever getting out of their poverty and misery. I think it’s time we started thinking about white civil rights!

Everyone’s making a big deal over Attorney General Eric Holder’s condemnation of Arizona’s immigration law without ever having actualy read the law. The real tragedy, however, is that Mr. Holder obviously has never read the Constitution.

Vice President Biden responded yesterday to a right wing blog post that said: “President Obama is a lot like Adolph Hitler. All Hitler did was run around making speeches while a bunch of his socialist henchmen ran the government.” The Vice President’s response: “It’s rediculous to compare Obama to Hitler – Hitler didn’t smoke.”
